Hi, I’m Katy. I’m a photographer and a mum. I’ve always loved creating; dabbling in drawing, painting and sewing when I was younger, and, more recently, crochet. I’ve always been drawn to photography, but only had the opportunity to get my own “proper” camera (DSLR) about 12 years ago. I have been passionately learning everything I could about the technique and art of photography ever since.

I love everyday people in their everyday places. Couples in their home, families in their backyard or favourite park. I love to photograph movement, shadows, reflections, and connections. I have a strong preference for black and white photography, but I always include colour images in all client galleries. I’ve been published in both Australian and international photography magazines. When I don’t have a camera in my hand (and I’m not ferrying the kids from one place to the other) I love to watch TV – Doctor Who and Star Trek are among my favourites (although you can probably catch me watching reality programs on occasion too).
